Pay: $110,000 - $135,000.00 range, per year

Job description:

The Associate Director of Consulting Services at Management Science and Innovation (MSI) reports to a dedicated Managing Director (MD) and leads the daily operations, planning, logistics, and administrative tasks associated with a project portfolio. The position requires management support for a suite of consulting and technology projects and includes quality control, requirements development, project planning and milestone development, and ad hoc deliverable assignments.   

MSI is hiring up to 3 candidates that best demonstrate the ability to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

Primary Duties:

• Support MSI Managing Directors in the management and growth of their project portfolios.
\n
• Collaborate with MSI project leads to define deliverables, identify requirements, and conduct project planning.
\n
• As directed by the MD, work with Government Leads to facilitate oversight of MSI performance.  
\n
• Track and forecast resource requirements, support hiring initiatives, lead onboarding of critical staff, and manage subcontracts.
\n
• Interface successfully with teaming partners and subcontractors to identify issues and ensure quick mitigation.
\n
• Collaborate with operations leads across MSI in ensuring seamless, high quality delivery operations.
\n
• Complete required project reporting for the Government, internal MSI reporting requirements, and ongoing analytics / metrics capture related to the aligned project portfolio.

Candidate Requirements:

As you will be supporting a senior leader at MSI, the expectations for the incumbent in this position are high. The successful candidate will likely hold the following qualifications:

\n
• At least 5-7 years experience, especially in Federal consulting services and/or project management roles.
\n
• Demonstrated experience maintaining and managing a sustainable consulting project portfolio.
\n
• Ability to maintain existing relationships with potential teaming partners and clients.
\n
• Deep knowledge and experience in the Federal sector delivering consulting engagements, with demonstrated follow-on opportunities secured.
