Work Control Planner
Savannah River Nuclear Solutions
Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include: Work Control personnel provide maintenance and work planning for nuclear, non-nuclear and shop facilities. They provide oversight for the Site Maintenance Program, provide support for the Reliability Centered Maintenance Program, and provide Facility Administrator functions for Landlord Services Buildings. Work Management Center personnel are responsible for coordinating and scheduling with operations and maintenance personnel for corrective and preventative maintenance outages and block week work to minimize facility operations impacts. Required Qualifications • Associate's degree in relevant field plus completion of applicable certification or on-the-job training plus at least 1.5 years of experience (YOE) in an applicable role, OR High school diploma plus completion of applicable certification or on-the-job training plus at least three years of experience (YOE) in an applicable role
• Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered We'd Also Like to See • Associate's degree in business, construction management, engineering or other related area.
• Experience in planning and scheduling, work control or related areas preferred.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of project management, project planning, and cost control at the tactical level is desirable, along with a knowledge of operations, maintenance, or project startup and construction.
• Knowledge of materials planning, time and cost estimating, as well as experience or aptitude in computers and computer project planning and controls software.
• Thorough understanding of the capabilities of computerized equipment for storing, compiling, manipulation and retrieving schedule, materials or financial data. Job Family Description Maintenance/production personnel support the operational success of nuclear and non-nuclear facilities, buildings, systems, and shops. Professionals in these roles are responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of equipment, machinery, and production processes to meet quality, safety, and productivity standards. Note for Salary This is the range within which SRNS expects the majority of qualified candidates would enter this role if offered.
