What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies screening protocols and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Screen patients visitors staff and/or vendors at designated entry points checking authorized access prohibited items and required credentials in accordance with site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Monitor entrances lobbies and other assigned areas for unusual activity policy violations and/or individuals needing assistance while maintaining clear and professional communication.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and perimeter locations as directed noting conditions documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• This position is located in a hospital morgue setting.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
