What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and urgent situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location including halls entrances parking areas and perimeter areas helping to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity assisting with directing foot traffic reporting suspicious behavior and supporting a professional atmosphere across the location.
• Assist with routine security-related reporting note-taking and pass-down communication helping to support continuity of operations across shifts and/or departments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue setting.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
