We are passionate about multiplying possibilities for our employees and our partners.Roskam Foods produces and packages food products with the goal of consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations for quality, safety, and wholesomeness.Key Essential Functions/Duties:Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.Performs hourly New Hire Benefit Orientation and assists with annual open enrollmentManages COBRA administration by working with vendorAssists new hires with benefit enrollment and verifies dependent documentation.Manages all benefit qualifying event requests from employees, verifying legitimacy and compliance.Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.Perform all I-9 Reverifications for the organization, ensure federal compliance.Support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and recognition programs.Helps with other benefit items: No Fault letters, EOI's, National Medical Support OrdersAssists with benefit communications throughout the organization (postings, TVs, etc…)Collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide the best service to employees as possible.Participate in audits and ensure documentation is complete and up to date.Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications:Associate degree in Human Resources, or related field required; bachelor's degree preferred.3–5 years of experience in an HR or people services role, preferably in a manufacturing required.Working knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP).Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.Experience in a unionized environment a plus.HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) PreferredFamiliarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement culture.Roskam Foods offers a competitive compensation package that includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, tuition reimbursement, life and disability insurance, and a 401 (k) plan with company match.AAP/EEO Statement: Roskam Foods is a recognized veteran-friendly and equal opportunity employer.We are excited to introduce you to all that Roskam has to offer—from the many valuable benefits to programs that support your lifestyle needs and opportunities for professional development.
