Job Summary: As the Managing Director of Aerospace and Defense delivery in the Supply Chain Consulting practice, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success and growth of the firm. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of consulting projects, ensuring they are executed with excellence and deliver maximum value to your clients. This position involves strategic leadership, client management, team development, and overall responsibility for the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and collaborating to develop innovative solutions.
2. Project Delivery: Lead project teams in the successful delivery of supply chain consulting services, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
3. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Supply Chain Aerospace and Defense Consulting practice, driving growth and profitability.
4. Team Management: Build and nurture a high-performing team of consultants, providing mentorship, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
5. Business Development: Work closely with the business development team to identify opportunities for expanding our client base and growing revenue.
6. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and consistency of project deliverables, methodologies, and best practices.
7. Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, and take appropriate actions to keep projects on track.
8. Financial Management: Manage project budgets, track financial performance, and make data-driven decisions to optimize project profitability.
9. Innovation: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the practice.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
2. Extensive experience (10+ years) in Aerospace and Defense supply chain consulting or related fields, with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a high-performance team.
4. Excellent client relationship management and business development skills.
5. Strategic thinking and a deep understanding of supply chain methodologies and best practices.
6. Exceptional problem-solving, project management, and analytical skills.
7. Strong communication and presentation skills.
8. Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
9. A passion for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends.
