Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Ajulia Executive Search The Director of Production Planning – Supply Chain leads capacity planning, manufacturing sourcing, inventory management, product lifecycle changes, and supply chain analytics to ensure exceptional on-time, in-full (OTIF) service levels. This role oversees inter-site inventory movement, supports subcontractor services, and manages a team of direct reports. Key Responsibilities: The Director of Production Planning – Supply Chain will maintain and update capacity models; identify constraints and propose solutions Manage safety stock targets (SMQs) and troubleshoot inventory issues Oversee product data setup (departments, work centers, BOMs, routing, sourcing rules) The Director of Production Planning – Supply Chain will direct new product launches, SKU transitions, and product phase-outs Lead planning team in inter-site order fulfillment, scheduling, and product change management Support plant planners with prioritization and continuous improvement The Director of Production Planning – Supply Chain will collaborate with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, sales, engineering, logistics, and customer service Lead the year-end physical inventory process Qualifications The Director of Production Planning – Supply Chain must hold a bachelor’s degree. Masters preferred. Must hold an ASCM certification Must have a minimum of 10 years in production planning, supply chain management from a food packaging/manufacturing (thermoforming preferably) background. Must have 5+ years of supervisory experience in a director level from a food packaging/ manufacturing (thermoforming preferably) background. The Director of Production Planning – Supply Chain must be proficient in ERP systems, MRP/MPS, and inventory management Must be able to mentor and train team members as needed. Flexible 24/7 in a manufacturing environment Must be proficient with computers with strong presentation skills. The Director of Production Planning – Supply Chain must be willing to travel as needed. MUST HOLD A CITIZENSHIP/ GREEN CARD WITH US EXPERIENCE
