Records Management Specialist

We’re recruiting for a Litigation Legal Assistant opportunity with a respected law firm in Cleveland. This role is ideal for someone with strong law firm administrative experience who can support attorneys with litigation filings, deadlines, billing, document preparation, and day-to-day client service.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys and legal team members
• Prepare, edit, proofread, and finalize legal and business documents
• Electronically file documents with courts and communicate professionally with court personnel
• Track key deadlines, calendar dates, CLE items, reimbursements, and related follow-up
• Support client service needs, including scheduling, phone calls, meetings, and guest coordination
• Create, maintain, organize, and close files in accordance with firm procedures
• Assist with billing tasks, time entry, pre-bill review, reports, cover letters, and follow-up
• Prioritize multiple requests while staying responsive, accurate, and detail-focused

Qualifications:

• Hands-on legal assistant experience in a law firm setting
• Litigation support experience, including e-filing and deadline tracking
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with document management, billing, and legal workflow systems preferred
• Familiarity with tools such as Kofax/Nuance, InTapp, LMS+, iManage, or similar platforms is helpful
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Strong judgment, organization, follow-through, and client service mindset
