Job Overview Financial Counselor – Full Time, 40 hours per week at Pembroke Hospital. Responsibilities Verifies patient insurance daily. Updates patient account with changes. Communicates with internal staff on insurance changes promptly. Keeps the hospital informed of high medical responsibilities and changes in insurance. Updates and delivers morning census reports. Assists patients with eligibility for government programs. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Insurance Verification, Inpatient or Outpatient facility; Preference given to Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital.
