Location New York, Charlotte, Dallas Overview Senior Consultant – Financial Services – Data & Analytics – Data Architecture and Engineering. Key Responsibilities Work on cross‑geographical teams to deliver data and analytics services to financial services clients. Analyze, model, and architect data solutions, driving growth across banking, capital markets, insurance, or asset management. Translate business requirements into technical designs, and present solutions to technology and business audiences. Develop and maintain data platforms, warehouses, lakes, and pipelines. Drive adoption of cloud, data mesh, and modern analytics. Produce client‑ready deliverables such as white papers, proofs of concept, and presentations. Manage project deadlines, deliverables, and reporting in a fast‑paced environment. Qualifications Undergraduate or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (engineering, computer science, business, economics, finance, statistics, analytics). 2–5 years of experience in banking, capital markets, insurance, or asset management. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to advocate technical solutions. Demonstrated ability to work independently under tight deadlines. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and project‑management skills. Experience in client‑facing activities: requirement gathering, meetings, presentation creation, and delivery of client‑ready documents. Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering actionable recommendations. Leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills. Curiosity and adaptability to learn new technologies. Willingly travel up to 60% of the time. Valid passport. Technical Expertise – Data Architecture & Engineering (DAE) Deep understanding of business challenges and ability to design remediation through data architecture and engineering. Experience building data architecture and engineering solutions, including cloud modernization, data migration, and event‑driven architecture in finance. Hands‑on experience with large data platforms, databases, warehouses, lakes, streaming applications, ingestion, integration, and distribution pipelines. Proficiency with latest ingestion, integration, transformation, storage, mining/warehousing, big data analytics, and visualization technologies. Knowledge of traditional data architecture practices and Next‑Gen platforms (distributed data lake, data mesh, cloud). Practitioner knowledge in multiple data technologies: Cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake Big data & distributed processing – Hadoop, Spark ecosystem Integration tools – Informatica, Talend Programming – Python, Java, C++, Scala Traditional RDBMS – Teradata, Netezza, MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL MPP – Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS Redshift NoSQL – MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J, Elasticsearch Streaming – Spark Streaming, Kafka, Storm Workflow & pipeline tools – Airflow, etc. DevOps – GitHub, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform Data modeling – Data Vault, Star, Snowflake schema Preferred MBA or master’s degree in business or science. Prior consulting experience. Professional Development and Compensation Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. The base salary range in the US is $106,900–$176,500, with higher ranges for certain metro‑areas. Benefits include medical, dental, pension, 401(k), paid time off, and flexible working models.
