Payroll AnalystWe are looking for a Payroll Analyst to support accurate, timely payroll and benefits administration for a growing employee population in Waco, Texas. This role combines hands-on payroll processing with employee support, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to resolve issues with professionalism. The ideal candidate brings practical experience with Paychex and benefits coordination while maintaining compliance and data accuracy across each pay cycle.Responsibilities:Manage the full biweekly payroll cycle for approximately 180 employees, ensuring all earnings, adjustments, and deductions are processed correctly and on schedule.Review payroll data through detailed audits, identify discrepancies, and make timely corrections before final submission.Calculate retroactive pay, confirm compensation updates such as merit increases, and validate changes entered into payroll records.Administer employee benefits activities, including enrollments, eligibility updates, insurance verification, and payroll-related deduction setup.Reconcile payroll deductions and benefit withholdings to confirm alignment with plan elections, carrier records, and internal payroll data.Respond to employee questions related to pay, deductions, and benefits, providing clear guidance and resolving issues in a high-service environment.Support administration of organization-related eligibility requirements and maintain accurate employee records tied to payroll and benefits programs.Assist with Paychex and organization system implementation activities as needed, including payroll and benefits process support, testing, and data validation.
