Temporary Records and Information Analyst (Remote)

Job Description

Beacon Hill Legal’s client, a national accounting firm, is seeking a Remote Records and Information Analyst (RIM) for a yearlong remote assignment. Candidates must have 5+ years of RIM experience and be comfortable working remotely. Experience in Information governance, or Privacy law may also be considered in lieu of RIM experience. Pay dependent on experience and starts at $50/hr.

Required skills and experience:

\n
• Minimum 5+ years of dedicated RIM experience
\n
• Comfortability in working in a remote setup with high-speed internet, etc.
\n
• Experience in the fields of Information Governance and Records & Information Management
\n
• Knowledge of information governance standards, industry leading practices, and technologies
\n
• Experience managing the retention and disposition of structured and unstructured data, as well as physical records, across various types of storage locations (e.g., databases, in-house tools, and third-party platforms)
\n
• Proficient in the use of collaboration and productivity tools (e.g., Excel and JIRA).
\n

Preferred skills and experience:

\n
• Licensed attorneys who are active and in good standing who can provide legal advice and counsel in connection with RIM activities, with RIM, Information governance or Privacy law experience are preferred.
\n
• Recognized RIM/information governance certifications preferred, including at least one or more of the following:
\n
• Certified Records Manager (CRM)
\n
• Information Governance Professional (IGP)
\n
• Certified Information Professional (CIP)
\n
• Certified Information Governance Officer (CIGO)
\n
• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), or
\n
• Certified Expert in Records & Information Management (CXRIM)
\n

\n
• Mandarin language fluency preferred
\n
• Python and SQL coding knowledge and experience is a plus
\n
