Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of client mental health status through interviews and standardized evaluation tools. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client. Facilitate regular therapy sessions with clients, offering guidance and strategies to help them navigate their mental health challenges. Track client progress and modify therapeutic interventions as needed based on ongoing assessments and feedback. Coordinate care by collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and support staff, to provide comprehensive treatment solutions. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records in our EHR system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all legal and ethical standards. Engage in community outreach and educational initiatives to promote awareness of mental health resources available within our clinic. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, addressing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse disorders, and eating disorders. You will employ culturally responsive practices to ensure that your care aligns with clients' individual cultural contexts. Your goal is to support them not only in overcoming their challenges but also in enhancing their overall quality of life. Qualifications Possession of a master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia. A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating expertise in therapeutic practices. Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, complemented by cultural competence in therapy. Experience in providing individual and group therapy using inclusive and adaptable methodologies. Excellent crisis intervention skills, exhibiting composure and sensitivity in high-pressure situations. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to develop strong therapeutic relationships with diverse clientele. Familiarity with EHR systems and technology to streamline administrative tasks and enhance patient care. Commitment to ethical standards, professional boundaries, and confidentiality in all client interactions. Preferred Experience Previous experience in community health settings or clinics focused on mental health. Engagement in continuing education related to emerging trends in mental health therapy. Strong background in group therapy facilitation and educational workshops. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
