Overview:

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Substitutes. As a Substitute, you will have the opportunity to work in various educational settings, providing support and assistance in the absence of regular teachers or staff members. This is a rewarding role that allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to their educational development. Must be confonfortable with infants through Kindergarten

Duties:

- Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by regular teachers or staff members

- Supervise students and maintain a safe and positive learning environment

- Implement classroom management strategies to ensure student engagement and behavior management

- Assist students with their academic tasks, providing guidance and support as needed

- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure continuity in the learning process

- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students

- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and development

- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior

Skills:

- Strong literacy education skills to effectively communicate concepts and ideas

- Proficiency in math to assist students with numerical concepts

- Experience working with children in a classroom or educational setting

- Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies

- Ability to provide tutoring and support to students in various subjects

- Familiarity with early childhood development principles and practices

- Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff members

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience with children

- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classrooms or schools as needed

- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to school policies and procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
