Promotions Coordinator

The Promotions Coordinator handles all casino promotions and promotion related special events created by the Marketing Department at Soboba Casino Resort.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Implement and execute all on-site and off-site casino promotions, such as drawings and giveaways.
• Knowledgeable of all casino promotions, special events and entertainment offerings.
• Provide excellent verbal and written communication to effectively interface with guests and team members.
• Consistently provide an elevated guest experience by addressing inquiries, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Work with Marketing Management to coordinate creative promotions and accurate advertising.
• Prepare notifications and submissions for STGC Regulatory Compliance.
• Ensure compliance with policies & procedures, game rules & regulations and internal controls.
• Able to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Work a flexible schedule, under limited supervision. Schedule will vary based on monthly promotion schedule.
• Have stage presence; speak clearly and confidently, display positive body language and facial expressions.
• Maintain excellent grooming and personal conduct according to Soboba Casino Resort standards.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education / Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• A minimum of two (2) years marketing, casino promotions, or guest service experience, required.
• Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and able to learn and operate industry software and programs.
• Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
• Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
