Job Duties - What You Will Contribute

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering to established protocols.
• Assess test results for reliability, troubleshoot any inaccuracies, and manage maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Document all processes meticulously, guide new team members, and uphold lab quality assurance standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of your employment.
