Full Time Manual Labor, Champaign, IL, US Salary: $44.68 / hour ABOUT THE POSITION The Electrician is responsible for performing all plant electrical work. WHY JOIN US Excellent Health, Dental, STD, Life/ADD, Vision Insurance Vacation Pay, Christmas Leave Pay, Union Pension Four Day Work Week – 40 Hours per Week (Monday-Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) REQUIREMENTS One year experience in manufacturing Industrial electrical experience Ability to repair and troubleshoot 120V, 240V, 480V, and 3-phase systems Experience with motor controls, VFDs, and industrial automation PREFERRED Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read, interpret, and execute drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications Ability to work overtime when necessary JOB FUNCTIONS Diagnose and repair electrical issues on industrial equipment and machinery Install, maintain, and troubleshoot motors, controls, VFDs, sensors, and PLC-related systems Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment Assist with equipment upgrades, new installations, and plant improvements Install, repair, and/or replace AC/DC motors and drives, starters or relays Install, repair, or replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, support structures, fiber-optic, line assemblies, lighting Replace belts on all plant motors Repair boiler controls Drive fork-lift truck #J-18808-Ljbffr
