Position Overview

Corpac is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our commercial team.

The Inside Sales Representative works closely with our Business Development Managers and other commercial and operational teams to develop quotations, identify product solutions, support customer requirements, analyze commercial data, and manage opportunities from initial inquiry through order execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Business Development Managers to support existing customers and develop new business opportunities.
• Review customer inquiries, specifications, drawings, material requirements, and bid packages.
• Prepare accurate and competitive quotations based on customer specifications, inventory availability, supplier pricing, freight, processing, and project requirements.
• Build and maintain Excel-based pricing tools, bid comparisons, margin analyses, quote summaries, project trackers, and sales reports.
• Use Excel to organize, analyze, validate, and present commercial and operational data effectively.
• Communicate directly with customers to clarify requirements, provide product information, respond to questions, and support the quotation and order process.
• Work with Purchasing and sourcing teams to obtain mill and supplier pricing and identify competitive supply solutions.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Operations, Logistics, Quality, and Accounting to support successful execution of customer orders and projects.
• Monitor open quotations, opportunities, customer activity, and commercial performance.
• Maintain accurate information within company CRM, ERP, and commercial systems.
• Analyze sales trends, customer activity, margins, pricing, and market information and communicate relevant insights to the commercial team.
• Participate in sales meetings, product training, commercial strategy discussions, and process-improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Construction Management, Economics, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, estimating, commercial analysis, project coordination, supply chain, or a related role preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required, including comfort working with formulas, spreadsheets, pricing data, and basic data analysis.
• Experience with PivotTables, lookup functions, and other advanced Excel features is a plus.
• Strong practical knowledge of artificial intelligence tools is required.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to work comfortably with pricing, margins, quantities, specifications, freight, and other commercial data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple quotations, projects, customers, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and follow-through.
• Experience with CRM and ERP systems is preferred.
• Experience in steel, pipe, industrial distribution, energy, construction, or infrastructure is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to develop strong technical knowledge of Corpac's products and markets.
