Assistant Maintenance Manager | Manufacturing Operations

Confidential Industrial Manufacturer | Central Ohio

A growing manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance, equipment reliability, and facility operations within a fast-paced production environment. This role will oversee preventative maintenance programs, capital/facility projects, technical staff development, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on minimizing downtime and improving operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily maintenance and facility operations
Drive preventative/predictive maintenance strategies
Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and automated systems
Manage vendors, contractors, spare parts, and maintenance budgets
Partner with production, engineering, and EHS teams to support plant goals
Utilize CMMS systems to track work orders, assets, and maintenance performance
Develop and mentor maintenance team members

Qualifications

Previous maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing
Strong industrial maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting ability
Experience with automation, PLCs, robotics, and facility systems preferred
Proven ability to improve uptime, prioritize projects, and lead teams effectively
Automotive or high-volume manufacturing experience is a plus
