Senior Counsel, U.S. Policy Legal

Senior Counsel role focused on developing and executing legal strategies to advance federal and state policy initiatives supporting product access. Position requires deep expertise in healthcare regulation and cross-functional collaboration with government affairs and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop legal strategies for federal and state policy initiatives supporting product access
• Advise Government Affairs and business stakeholders on healthcare laws, regulations, and policies
• Manage external counsel relationships, define project objectives, and oversee project execution
• Collaborate across Legal, Government Affairs, Ethics and Compliance, and business functions on strategic initiatives
• Maintain knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and company policies affecting relevant business areas

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree with active license to practice law in a U.S. state
• Minimum 5+ years experience practicing law; 8+ years preferred
• Experience in law firm, government, trade association, or in-house counsel roles
• Preferred background in legislative and regulatory policy within healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
