Material HandlerFull time Americas - North America - United States - Baltimore - RPSNA Baltimore MDJob DescriptionSUMMARY: Transport materials and product throughout the plant in a safe and efficient manner.RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:Fill machine hoppers with caps.Fill bulk glue tanks with adhesive.Order needed materials.Load liner roll lifters, deliver materials to machines, and move finished goods to the warehouse.Remove and place recycling and trash in proper containers and maintain cleanliness of department.Back up Group Leader and Quality Assurance Inspector as needed.Must perform any other assigned duties.Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements. And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement.QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience. Must have excellent attendance.Must have good housekeeping skills.Must have knowledge of product identification and have basic math skills.Must have forklift experience.Must be able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner.Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting (up to 50 pounds periodically).Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.Must be able to work overtime as needed.Our ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
