Endpoint Security Engineer

Job Title Endpoint Security Engineer Role Overview This role will be responsible for designing and implementing security controls to protect data, applications, and infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. The Security Engineer will collaborate cross‑functionally to provide technical security expertise, develop threat simulation methodologies to evaluate risks and predict attack outcomes, and troubleshoot security‑related issues to enhance protection. The successful candidate will communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, stay current with emerging security technologies and best practices, and maintain thorough documentation of security processes, assessments, and findings to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Location Frisco, TX. The position requires on‑site presence as needed. Candidates should be within a commutable distance to the office. Relocation assistance is not offered. Key Responsibilities Assess endpoint protection requirements for enterprise devices, applications, and related assets. Review and evaluate current endpoint security implementations. Conduct thorough analysis of technical and integration requirements. Develop solutions and solution architecture for CrowdStrike, Microsoft, and Zscaler security products. Coordinate and administer joint efforts with Systems Engineering, Information Security, and GRC teams. Provide product implementation and operational support, including hands‑on implementation of EDR, DLP, ZTNA, and SWG. Develop policies and procedures for monitoring, assessment, detection, incident response, and remediation of endpoint security devices. Apply expertise in information governance and data protection. Qualifications 5+ years of demonstrated technical proficiency in cybersecurity. Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure platforms. In‑depth knowledge of security tools and products and how they fit within an organization. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux/Unix system administration and security controls. Strong understanding of IT and cybersecurity technologies. Good understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, SSL). Compensation The starting pay range for this position is $93,370.00–$153,400.00. Salary determination considers the individual’s skill set, experience, and location.
