Clinical – Medical Assistant
Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in delivering quality patient care in a collaborative clinical setting. This position offers consistent work hours Monday through Friday, providing a rewarding environment to support health education and outreach efforts while developing your clinical skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients in a timely, professional manner
- Assist with scheduling and answer incoming calls
- Take patient vitals and document accurately
- Draw blood and perform venipuncture procedures
- Administer vaccines following established protocols
- Provide additional clinical support as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain positive working relationships with staff to promote effective patient care
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externship
- Experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
- Excellent computer skills to navigate EMR systems and other clinical software
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Additional Skills & Requirements
- Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
- Experience working in an environment focused on health education and outreach
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, with a lunch break from 11:30am to 12pm
- Preferred candidates will have phlebotomy/venipuncture skills and EMR experience
- Schedule includes coverage on specific dates in July and August 2026
