\nA Jamaica based client is seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician to provide excellent care to patients of all ages. This is a community health center role, and only outpatient. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician who values providing equitable care to all populations. Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome to apply.
\nRequired Qualifications
\n- \n
- Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree \n
- Current NY state medical license \n
- Completed an accredited residency program \n
- Current DEA certificate \n
- Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine \n
- Current CPR certification \n
Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages \n
- Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results \n
- Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients on their treatment plans \n
- Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload \n
- Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy \n
- Serve as a supervisor for nursing and mid-level provider staff \n
