Pediatric Neurologist

Medical Group is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Neurologist to join its established Neuroscience program with practice based in Bakersfield, CA.State-of-the-art pediatric specialty facility in southwest Bakersfield, located near Stockdale Highway and Allen Road. The 52,000-square-foot center opened in October 2018 and was developed to expand access to pediatric subspecialty care for families in Kern County and the South Valley. The center is open Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM. Provide outpatient pediatric neurology care for children and adolescents throughout Kern County and the greater South Valley Work within a multidisciplinary pediatric subspecialty network with access to neurology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, neurogenetics, rehabilitation, epilepsy, and neurodiagnostic resources Access to main campus resources, including advanced neurodiagnostics and a Level 4 Epilepsy Center Services available: Neurological examinations Routine EEG Video EEG Evoked potential examinations MRI / CT imaging SEEG Genetic screening Muscle biopsy Newborn screening Pediatric neurodiagnostic evaluations for neonates, children, adolescents, and young adults up to age 21 Pediatric neuropsychology Pediatric neurosurgery Neurogenetics Neuromuscular Clinic / Muscular Dystrophy Clinic Neurocutaneous Syndromes Clinic Hypertonicity / Spasticity Clinic Epilepsy support services for patients and families Benefits: Comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, and malpractice coverage) Generous retirement plan Relocation assistance and sign-on incentives CME allowance Eligible for loan repayment programs Area Highlights: There s an abundance of things to do and places to see when living in Central California.
