General Dentist - Pediatric Office | Bakersfield, CA Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunity A well-established pediatric-focused dental office in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a friendly, patient-centered General Dentist to join our growing team. This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, and new graduates with an interest in pediatrics are encouraged to apply. About the Opportunity Join a supportive, family-friendly pediatric practice committed to providing gentle, high-quality care to children of all ages. Our ideal candidate is open to working in a pediatric environment-previous experience with children is a plus, but not required . You will be supported by a rotating team of assistants, ensuring you always have help chairside. Compensation Structure
- Daily Base: $800-$900/day to start (flexible depending on experience)
- Compensation Model: Begin on a daily base , then transition to percentage of production after an initial period
- Majority Medi-Cal (state insurance)
- Some PPO accepted
- No HMO
- Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
- Part-Time: Flexible, ideally Monday-Tuesday or Thursday-Friday (same hours)
- Implants
- Periodontics
- Oral Surgery
- Endodontics
- Orthodontics
- Team: 6 team members currently (actively hiring additional staff)
- Assistants: Rotating assistants-doctor will never work without support
- Operatories:
- 4 treatment rooms
- 6 open-bay hygiene chairs
- Technology: Open Dental EHR; limited specialty equipment due to the nature of pediatric care
- 401(k) offered after a period of employment
- Additional benefits TBD and may be added as the practice grows
