Duties

Help

• Gather, analyze, develop, and maintain operational, manpower, and historical data to prepare a variety of reports, such as organizational structure, resources utilization, mission, function, work processes, etc.
• Input, maintain, evaluate, and compare pertinent data and information.
• Document errors and missing information, research and obtain missing data, clarify discrepancies and inconsistencies, and compile reports.
• Responsible for entering, removing, and reassigning personnel in the Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi) system.
• Coordinate the data quality of the DMHRSi information with the Administration Officers for each assigned directorate.
• Serve as the department's Property Custodian for accountable office equipment with the assigned departments.
• Serve as a Supply Officer to conduct inventories of available supplies and ensure office supplies are ordered using approved supply systems.

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

• This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
• Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
• This position has a requirement to lift up to 50 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) preparing spreadsheets and/or generating reports to analyze data; and (2) utilizing various automated databases to gather or extract data; and (3) directing supply chain operations as the primary Supply Officer or Property Custodian; and (4) ensuring 100% accountability of high-value assets through lifecycle tracking and/or routine audits.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
