Job Title Job Title: Assistant Ammunition Logistics Manager Location Location: Coronado, CA Start Date Start Date: 1 August 2026 contingent on award Salary Range Salary Range: $65,000-$95,000 Clearance Clearance: Active SECRET Clearance Required Job Description We are seeking an Assistant Ammunition Manager to support the LOGSU-1 Weapons Department. This critical role ensures the seamless tracking, safety, and logistical flow of ammunition and explosives. Responsibilities Support the day-to-day management of ammunition inventory, issue, and receipt. Maintain 100% accountability of all ordnance using defense tracking systems. Ensure strict adherence to military safety standards and explosive handling guidelines. Support routine audits, cycle counts, and compliance inspections. Qualifications Extensive experience in military logistics, specifically dealing with arms, ammunition, and explosives (AA&E). High attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) ordnance tracking software. Must hold a valid state driver’s license and an active SECRET security clearance.
