Overview Exciting Opportunity: Property Accountant Candidate Location Preference: Columbus, Ohio CORY is hiring a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant in Columbus, Ohio. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, vertically integrated real estate firm and play a foundational role in building out their internal finance function. About Our Client Our client is a vertically integrated real estate investment firm headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, focused on value-add multifamily and dedicated to building a best-in-class portfolio across the Midwest. Responsibilities Produce monthly property-level P&L statements by reconciling property management reports and recording all income and expenses Confirm rental income and expenses match actual bank activity across all properties Monitor cash flow across bank accounts and ensure funds are moving where they should Ensure mortgage payments, insurance, and property taxes are paid accurately and on time Prepare financial reports for monthly P&L review meetings with leadership Qualifications 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, specifically in multifamily Comfortable reconciling property management financials against bank activity Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously Self-sufficient and comfortable working on a lean team Clear communicator who can present financial information directly to ownership Perks and Benefits Base salary starting at $75,000, depending on experience Opportunity to grow with a firm actively expanding its portfolio How to Apply Send your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io, and our team will reach out with the following steps if selected.
