Staff Accountant

Location Preference: Franklin County, OH CORY is hiring an Accountant who is passionate about driving financial accuracy, supporting scalable processes, and contributing to a high-growth, technology-enabled property management platform. This individual will play a critical role in managing property-level financials, supporting the close process, and delivering actionable insights to leadership. About Our Client An innovative, technology-driven property management firm that leverages data, automation, and advanced analytics to optimize portfolio performance and inform strategic decision-making—built on a foundation of operational excellence and scalable infrastructure across multifamily. Your Responsibilities as a Leader Oversee and manage monthly and quarterly close processes across a portfolio of multifamily and commercial properties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. Prepare and review property-level financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and variance analyses (actuals vs. budget and prior periods). Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations and supporting schedules. Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning initiatives across the portfolio. Assist with audit preparation, including compiling schedules and supporting documentation. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve internal controls, and enhance system efficiencies. Prepare reporting packages and financial insights for leadership, including key metrics, trends, and performance indicators.
