Account Director

Welf is part of the Welfare Group and is looking for an experienced Account Director to help originate and close high-value investment relationships in Germany. About the Role This role sits within the Welf organisation and works closely alongside the Prop.com product. The focus is on developing trusted investor relationships, creating opportunities through personal network and proactive origination, and converting qualified conversations into closed investment allocations. Responsibilities Build and develop relationships with prospective investors and investment partners in Germany Generate new opportunities through personal network, proactive outreach, and relationship-led business development Run investor conversations from initial introduction through to commercial close Work across both direct and intermediary-led channels Coordinate closely with internal teams to progress opportunities effectively Maintain strong control of pipeline, follow-up, and deal progression Represent the business professionally in investor-facing meetings, calls, and written communications Travel as required based on prospect locations Qualifications Strong experience in relationship-led sales, capital raising, investor coverage, or similar commercial roles Credibility with sophisticated private and professional investor audiences Strong self-generation capability and comfort creating opportunities from scratch Excellent commercial judgement and deal progression skills Strong written and verbal communication Organised, proactive, and able to manage complex, longer-cycle conversations Real estate exposure is highly valuable, but we are open to adjacent investment backgrounds Required Skills Strong experience in relationship-led sales, capital raising, or investment-facing business development Commercially sharp and credible with sophisticated investors Able to build momentum across multiple channels Preferred Skills Experience in real estate or closely related investment markets What success looks like Raise $10m of capital within 12 months Generate 10 self-generated meetings per month, excluding meetings created from internal leads and sales team activity Achieve 10% conversion from internal meetings to closed deals Build a reliable and repeatable pipeline of qualified investor opportunities across the Netherlands market Equal Opportunity Statement We are committed to attracting and retaining a diverse workforce.
