Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current CDE SPED License with Generalist Endorsement is mandatory.
• The license should appear as: Professional Teacher License #000000, Endorsed In: Special Education Generalist (5-21).
• Documentation or proof of application for the correct endorsement required if not yet issued.
• Not eligible for travelers, substitute, temporary, interim, VOCO, or hybrid licenses.
• Robust experience in classroom teaching, with strong command of instructional strategies and specially designed instruction.
• Advanced understanding of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process.
• Dedicated to collaborating with fellow educators and related professionals.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver dynamic, individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
• Employ evidence-based teaching practices and adapt lessons to alternative academic standards as required.
• Draft, implement, and monitor IEP goals, keeping student growth at the forefront.
