Summary: The Entry Level Quality Coordinator assists quality department with reviews and inspection of parts throughout production stages and completes data entry of findings. This is a 90-day internship position. Candidates will be provided the necessary training for this position. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions: Enter variety of data using Microsoft excel. Prepare and sort documents for data entry. Create and maintain logs for tracking purposes. Review and enter data updates in the systems. Review discrepancies in data received. Perform hourly in-process inspections for all running jobs using gauges, scales and visual inspection to identify product defects. Notify floor supervisor/plant manager immediately when non-conforming parts are detected. Quarantine nonconforming parts physically with proper identification and labeling. Support additional Quality department duties as assigned Qualifications Skills & Competencies: Requires strong attention to detail and visual acuity for defect identification. Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities. Safety awareness and commitment. Excellent organizational & time management skills. Self-motivated and able to perform duties with minimal supervision. Works well in a team environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
