ICU Travel Nurse Job in Lexington, NC

This ICU travel nurse job in Lexington, North Carolina, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Atrium Health- Wake Forest- Lexington Medical Center. This role pays $1,965 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule.

As the ICU registered nurse on this assignment, you'll care for critically ill patients on continuous monitoring, titrate critical infusions as ordered, manage ventilated patients, and act immediately on signs of deterioration with the critical care team.

Atrium Health- Wake Forest- Lexington Medical Center, part of the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist network, is a 94-bed not-for-profit community hospital serving Davidson County, North Carolina.

Lexington Medical Center provides around-the-clock emergency care for adults and children, surgical services spanning orthopedic, general, and ENT/head-and-neck procedures, stroke and cancer care delivered as a satellite of Wake Forest Baptist specialty programs, an on-site rehabilitation department, diagnostic imaging center, and wound care center.

Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients requiring continuous hemodynamic monitoring and frequent reassessment
• Titrate vasoactive, sedation, and other high-alert drips as ordered and per facility protocol
• Care for mechanically ventilated patients and manage critical care devices, including arterial and central lines
• Respond to clinical deterioration and participate in codes and rapid responses

Travel ICU Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent ICU experience.
• Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by North Carolina and national regulatory bodies.
