Billing Specialist

Compensation: $80,000–$85,000 annually, based on experience Experience: 5+ years About the Role Grayson Search Partners is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist for an established organization in Sugar Grove, IL . This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong background in billing and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of billing and/or accounting experience , strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience with Deltek or Vantagepoint is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Prepare, process, and review customer invoices for accuracy and timely submission Handle accounts receivable activities , including payment posting and account maintenance Enter and maintain billing, financial, and customer information Review accounts and research discrepancies or billing issues Assist with account reconciliations and month-end activities Provide support with timesheet entry and review Work with internal teams to resolve billing and timekeeping questions Maintain accurate billing records and documentation Assist with reporting and other accounting-related projects Provide additional support to the accounting team as needed What We’re Looking For 5+ years of billing, AR, or accounting experience Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable Deltek or Vantagepoint experience strongly preferred Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred Strong Excel and data-entry skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills Compensation & Schedule $80,000–$85,000 annually, based on experience Located in Sugar Grove, IL Eligible employees are offered a comprehensive benefits package , including: Paid time off (PTO) 9 paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance Mental wellness resources Identity protection Legal protection Short-term and long-term disability insurance Life insurance and AD&D coverage Flexible spending account (FSA) Financial wellness support Continuing education assistance Casual dress code Flexible work environment Why Consider This Opportunity?
