Shop Personnel Wood Cutting Operations (SMI)

We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious individuals to join our shop team. This role involves operating woodworking equipment to cut lumber accurately and efficiently for production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate radial arm saws and table saws for both ripping and crosscutting operations.
• Measure and mark lumber according to specifications.
• Ensure proper setup and safe operation of all saws.
• Inspect wood for defects and maintain quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Assist with material handling and inventory as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with woodworking equipment preferred (radial arm and table saws).
• Ability to read and interpret measurements accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Physical ability to lift and move lumber as required.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive work attitude.
