Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Technician - Food Manufacturing Location: Farmingdale, NY Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00 / hour (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-time Available Shifts We are a 24-hour operation running three distinct shifts to fit your schedule. Pleasenote your shift preference when applying. 1st Shift: 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM 2nd Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM 3rd Shift: 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician with a background in the food industry to join our team in Farmingdale. In this role, you will ensure that all products meet our strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished food products. Monitor production lines to ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and food safety guidelines. Conduct temperature, weight, pH, and packaging integrity checks. Document and maintain accurate logs of all quality inspections and testing results. Identify and report any product deviations or safety hazards to management immediately. Assist with pre-operational inspections and sanitation verification. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of Quality Control experience specifically within the food/beverage industry is required. Knowledge: understanding of Food Safety, GMPs, and HACCP principles. Skills: High attention to detail, communication skills, and basic computer proficiency for data entry. Physical: Ability to stand, walk the production floor, and lift up to 30 lbs as needed. Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality are a must, especially for early morning/overnight shifts.
