Entry Level Accountant

Overview Insight Global is looking for an entry level Accountant to work for a large communications company in the Greenwood Village, CO area. Duties include preparation of monthly journals for billing, general ledger oversight, and audit responses. Reconciles accounts and bank statements. Prepares financial statements including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flows. Creates tax and regulatory filings. Provides guidance on cost accounting issues. Able to interact effectively with internal and external clients. Strong analytical abilities with advanced MS Excel skills. On site 4 days per week (remote on Fridays) Responsibilities Prepare monthly journals for billing and provide general ledger oversight; respond to audits. Reconcile accounts and bank statements. Prepare financial statements including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flows. Create tax and regulatory filings. Provide guidance on cost accounting issues. Interact effectively with internal and external clients. Demonstrate strong analytical abilities with advanced MS Excel skills. Typical day in the role Daily recording of deposits including payments from lockbox and checks received and scanned in Denver Manage stop payment and reclass activities with accounting Reconciliation and entries for ACH receipts from recovery vendors and USIC Month-end damage claim reconciliation & reporting Manage POs and NRCs for recovery expense Centralized Tool Orders -25% Manage ARs for orders across all Management Areas Transact SAP Sales Orders for equipment deliveries to Field Offices Maintain Smartsheet order information for reference by Regions-MAs on upcoming orders Report monthly spends and support data requests for month-end close, forecast reviews, and planning Required Skills Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance or a relatable field Excel (pivot tables, V Lookups, SUM Ifs, if than and X look ups) #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
