Charge Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Seeking an OR - Operating Room Charge Nurse (RN) to coordinate departmental functions in a fast-paced surgical environment. Responsibilities include: overseeing nursing care, managing staff scheduling, acting as liaison to internal and external stakeholders, developing and implementing compliance plans, and mentoring team members. Key skills: strong interpersonal and communication abilities, decision-making under pressure, change management, and budget oversight. Qualifications: nursing degree from an accredited institution (BSN preferred), valid RN license in the state, and minimum of two years clinical experience, with specialty certifications and management experience preferred. Certifications required: CPR ACLS PALS/ENPC (as applicable) NRP for certain units specialized training in areas like bariatrics or wound care Additional requirements: ability to respond quickly to needs of surgical staff, patients, and surgeons; ability to assess, plan, evaluate, and document nursing care; and supervise healthcare team members.
