Nurse Practitioner Urology Practice

Seeking an experienced Urology Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or a Physician Assistant for a busy specialty practice. The APN will work collaboratively within our patient-centered care model to assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with urological health needs. This role requires strong competencies in direct clinical practice, leadership, and collaboration. A proven background in urology is essential. Position involves both inpatient rounding and outpatient. Education Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Graduate of an NLN/AACN-accredited nursing program. Successful completion of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education. Required Licenses & Certifications Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse (RN) License. Current NJ Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) License. Board certification by AANP or ANCC. AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant License. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification. Active New Jersey prescriptive authority (CDS and DEA). National Provider Identifier (NPI). Ability to maintain a collaborative agreement with staff physicians. Required Skills & Abilities Experience in a relevant patient care setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms. Proficiency with computer platforms, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite. Active New Jersey prescriptive authority (CDS and DEA).
