Position Details:

-Position: LD Self-Contained Classroom
-Schedule: Full-Time
-Contract: Full School Year
-Start Date: Upcoming School Year

Responsibilities:
-Provide specialized instruction in a self-contained classroom serving students with learning disabilities.
-Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
-Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
-Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success.
-Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines.
-Create a structured, engaging, and positive classroom environment that promotes academic, social, and behavioral growth.

Qualifications:
Active Texas Special Education Teaching Certification (or ability to obtain)
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field
Able to pass background check and drug screening
Authorized to work in the US
