Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist, covering two anticipated maternity leaves for the upcoming school year. This contract position is set within a vibrant educational environment near Owens Cross Roads, AL, and offers both in-person and teletherapy opportunities. The assignment spans from August 2026 to March 2027, with hours from 7am to 3pm, allowing for a balanced workday and meaningful student engagement.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
• State licensure (or eligibility) for Alabama and appropriate school credentials
• Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations, preferably K-12
• Comfort with both onsite and teletherapy service delivery
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain progress documentation
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
• Deliver therapy sessions through both in-person and virtual platforms, as needed
• Complete all required reporting and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
