Job Title Occupational Therapist (OT) Job Type and Schedule Fulltime, Exempt Schedule: Days, Clinic Hours – 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday‑Thursday, 7:30 am to 11:30 am Friday Overview Maria Parham Health, a member of Lifepoint Health, offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. As an OT, you will help patients regain functional independence through individualized treatment plans, therapeutic interventions, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary rehab team. Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ ability to perform daily activities and develop individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence. Implement therapeutic interventions using appropriate modalities and educate patients and caregivers on deficits and adaptive techniques. Provide guidance on selection and use of adaptive equipment to support recovery. Document patient progress in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards, monitoring and adjusting plans of care as needed. Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary rehab team on treatment goals and discharge planning. Supervise and delegate appropriate aspects of care to certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians in accordance with state regulations and professional practice standards. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program. Inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and/or outpatient setting experience preferred. Current state Occupational Therapist (OT) license. Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification is required. Lymphedema certification (or ability to obtain within six months of hire) required.
