SMD TW Test/Pack Operator - 2nd shift

Job Summary Packing Surface Mount resistors into reels or bulk packages including any of the following product types – WSL, WSLM, WSK, WSC, WSF, and WSH product types. Operate packing and testing machines on the 2nd Shift (Monday – Thursday 3:00 pm – 1:30 am) with overtime available as needed. Job Location Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE – one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e‑beam technology, with around 600 employees. What you will be doing Turn on packing machine and load reels, cover tape, and carrier tape. Receive order form, QC or Finished Good Stock. Set up computer with packing and testing specifications, set counters, and run out leader tape. Place resistors into syntron bowl (Test pack or Tokyo Weld machines) or load resistor sticks to table for stick‑to‑tape machines; start machine by pressing the keyboard button. Operate machine until the desired quantity is packed and wind carrier tape tail around shuttle end. Remove finished reel from machine and repeat procedures if required quantity exceeds current reel. Package orders in bulk packaging where necessary. Print PNID labels and bar‑code labels as required. What you will bring along High School diploma or equivalent.
