Senior Accountant

KBW is partnering with a growing organization in the Dover, NH area that is looking to add an experienced Senior Accountant to its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the month-end close process, preparing financial reporting, and partnering with leadership to improve accounting processes. This is an onsite opportunity with a salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 DOE. What You'll Do Lead key aspects of the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Prepare and analyze financial statements, investigate variances, and ensure compliance with GAAP. Maintain general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets. Prepare state tax filings and support audit requests as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree or CPA is a plus). 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
