Radiologic Technologist

Responsible for performing diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans and X-rays on patients. Operates CT scanners and related equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Performs X-ray procedures as needed, including portable X-ray and assisting with C-arm studies. Key Responsibilities Perform CT scans and X-rays according to physician's orders and established protocols. Position patients and equipment for optimal imaging. Administer contrast media as required. Monitor patient's condition during procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of CT scanners and X-ray equipment. Assist with portable X-ray procedures and C-arm studies for MBS. Float to Providence Alaska Medical Center to assist with staffing needs. Schedule / Shift Primarily covering Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Required Qualifications 1 year of experience as a CT Tech. Ability to float to Providence Alaska Medical Center. Certifications BLS certification. ARRT (R) certification. ARRT (CT) certification. Experience Experience with older GE and Siemens CT scanners. Experience with Siemens, Fuji, and GE X-ray equipment. Experience with C-arm equipment for MBS studies. Skills Proficient in CT scanning procedures. Proficient in X-ray procedures. Skills per facility's utilization review (UD). EMR / Systems Epic charting system. Patient Population LTACH/ICU (10 beds) Inpatient Rehabilitation (46 beds) Low volume setting. Unit / Specialty Rehabilitation LTACH/ICU Floating / On-Call On-call: 2-3 nights of call per week. Weekend coverage required.
