Financial Services Supervisor

Responsibilities Work to deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities, such as month-end close, financial reporting, year-end audit support, and the support of budget and forecasting activities. Learn and efficiently use our best-in-class cloud‑based technology stack. Serve as the key point of contact for clients, including CEOs, COOs, CFOs, VPs of Finance, and Controllers, as well as other client contacts such as tax and professional service providers. Lead, manage, and coach client services representatives, associates, and senior associates. Support the client’s month-end close process as needed, which may include reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations. Prepare and review client’s monthly financial statements, including month‑over‑month variance analysis and/or actual-to-budget analysis. Analyze and interpret financial information for client management and provide actionable insight and decision support. Continuously identify opportunities to enhance the client’s monthly operations and make suggestions for process improvements. Understand our technology stack and identify additional add‑on processes, systems, modules, and integrations that can drive month-end close efficiencies. Define and document repeatable methodologies with appropriate tools and templates that can be leveraged for future projects. Establish engagement budgets. Direct initial assessments, implementations, and onboarding of new FAO clients. Participate in meetings with new client prospects and in the proposal process. Ability to analyze and interpret— not just report—financial information to add value to client businesses as a trusted adviser. Solid Excel skills, including creating tables, using formulas, and pivot tables. Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proactive status, issue, conflict, and priority communication across the engagement team. Ability to balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously and strong analytical and decision-making skills. Progressive experience in accounting and financial management in a corporate accounting environment, preferably as an accounting supervisor, assistant controller, controller, director of finance, or CFO. Strong technical GAAP knowledge. Strong management accounting and operational finance knowledge. Experience in FP&A functions, including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Strong time-management and organizational skills with sensitivity to timeframes, budgets, and outcomes across multiple clients and projects. Experience with automated accounting systems such as Intacct, NetSuite, Blackline, Bill.com, and Tallie. CPA is preferred but not required. Compensation Range: $85,100 - $161,700. Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
