If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!As Corporate Counsel you will help develop our corporate and securities legal strategy, ensuring our legal approach scales with the company's growth.This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.What You'll Do At Figma:Support the preparation, review, and filing of Figma's SEC reports and other corporate regulatory filings, including quarterly reports, the annual proxy statement, Section 16 filings, and beneficial ownership reportsSupport review of public-facing corporate communications, including earnings materials and investor presentationsAssist with corporate governance matters, including preparing Board and Committee materials and maintaining and operationalizing public-company policiesProvide support on equity matters, including 10b5-1 plans and Figma's trading policyBuild and maintain processes using AI and other tools, such as playbooks, templates, metrics, self-serve tools, and automations, to help improve legal workflows and scale the legal functionPartner with and provide practical legal advice to other critical stakeholders across accounting, equity, finance, people, and communicationsProvide legal support for transactional and general corporate matters, including financings, strategic transactions, and corporate initiatives as they ariseWe'd Love To Hear From You If You Have:4+ years of legal experience at a top tier law firm and in-house legal department; you should have a J.D. and be a current member in good standing of at least one U.S. state barDeep knowledge of corporate and securities laws and SEC reporting requirementsExcellent interpersonal skills and business judgment, with the ability to distill complex issues and communicate them clearly to stakeholdersProactive and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize across multiple projects and recalibrate advice in response to shifting priorities, legal developments, and risk toleranceA strong self-awareness around what you know and what you don't, and a sense of curiosity and desire to learn what you don't.At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.Pay Transparency Disclosure Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. Figma provides paid sick leave, holidays, and other leave benefits in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the requirements of the Washington Minimum Wage Act and related regulations. Exempt employees are eligible for employer?provided paid flexible PTO in addition to flexible paid sick leave. PTO is subject to manager approval. Additional benefits may include company recharge days, cell phone and home internet reimbursements, and a number of lifestyle spending accounts. Figma also offers sales incentive compensation for most sales roles and an annual bonus plan for eligible non-sales roles.
