Public Finance Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Public Finance Associate with 3-4 years of experience to join their Los Angeles, California office. The firm handles a wide range of financing matters for diverse clients, including governmental entities and investment banks, across the U.S. and its territories. Duties Assist in municipal bond and other public finance transactions. Engage in IRS audits and SEC investigations. Participate in public-private partnerships and securitizations. Support bankruptcy and work-out processes. Requirements Three to four years of relevant law firm experience. Membership in the Bar of a U.S. State. Superior client service skills. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Certifications Bar membership in a U.S. State. Skills Strong transactional background. Experience in public finance transactions, UCC, and securities law is a plus. Excellent writing and communication skills. Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.
