Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Libertyville, IL (On-site)

Experience Level: 5 -7 Years

Job Description & Skill Requirement:
Performs set-up of molding processing equipment, skilled in using molding operation and testing the quality of the products. Skilled in PFMEA for molding process. Design of Experiments, Process characterization,continous improvements and problem solving skills.
Experience in medical devices manufacturing industry and knowledgeable in iso3485 standard . Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to identify yield problems or test new products. Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel

Medical Device Manufacturing
Quality Engineering within high-volume manufacturing
Companies with molding/process quality operations

Priority 2:
Medical device companies with ISO 13485 quality systems
Contract manufacturers serving medical-device customers
FDA-regulated manufacturing environments
High-volume production facilities

Nice to Have:
Customer-facing quality experience
Process development support
Experience with new product/process introduction
Yield improvement projects
Experience preparing quality reports, charts, and graphs

Education & Experience
Experience:
5 7 years of relevant Quality Engineering experience
Strong experience in molding/manufacturing processes
Medical device manufacturing experience is highly preferred
Experience with quality improvement and problem solving
